Event Registration: Resources to Look for in a Dementia Friendly Community
This course outlines the power of community when an individual is faced with a terminal illness such as dementia. Identifying what is most important to the person affected with the illness is a crucial step in planning for the future, determining social supports and preparing to respond to future challenges. This course also prepares health and community based service providers to create a dementia friendly community within their respective networks and fields of work.
